I bought proactive for my daughter who was having problems with acne. she had a few pimples here and there. we purchased proactiv and those pimples became more and left dark spots on her skin. i regret buying the product. And I purchsed for about six months or more. My daughter has never felt so bad and embarassed about her face. I Looks worse than ever. We are now working on her skin. I think acne should be treated from the inside out. starting with food that we eat. out side creams like proactiv are just quick temporary fixes.

The product itself worked for me, didn't irritate my skin or anything. However, like the review below, customer service reps were very rude when I had questions about my shipment. They lost one of my returned orders (unopened) and charged me for it still. Don't do business with this company. Worst company I ever used.

it worked the first week, then it went downhill. it stopped working and my acne got worse.i will not use proactiv again.

I have had acne since i was 12. My acne is like family visits. You are never prepared and the invite themselves at the worst time! They also stay longer than what you like and just when you get rid of them, more family members show up. I've tried everything a doctor can prescribe. I finally broke down and bought proactive over the telephone. After one month I finally saw a SLIGHT improvement, however not enough to get excited about. After two months I had realized that I had got screwed over by the TV and Jessica Simpson. I tried to call and cancel but by the time I got off the phone I had been talked into trying their extra strengh product. Right now I look like a diseased person. I am broke out now worse than I ave ever been! After reading other reviews I'm thinking it may be proactive....?
